Philadelphia Yearly Meeting

Quakers love to share their stories! When pym.org switched to using WordPress as a content management system, the amount of content exploded. It became a rich resource of knowledge and information, but was unwieldy and difficult to use.

Drawing on staff feedback, user testing, and web traffic analysis, I revamped the information architecture and simplified the navigation — resulting in a surge in website traffic and engagement. Alongside that, I gave the site a complete visual makeover, extending the new look and feel across all channels: website, social media, print, and email.

On the technical side, I chose hosting, built a custom WordPress theme, and kept everything maintained and running smoothly. I also created user-friendly forms for event registration, donations, and subscriptions, all integrated with Salesforce for data management. To make sure it all stuck, I trained staff and volunteers on using the site effectively, with regular meetings to keep updates and feedback flowing.

In short, I helped pym.org transform from a content repository into a thriving online community.
